Everything I have done here is because:

 

• Box sets of curriculum are super expensive

• Homeschool classes are often expensive AND parents are also  giving up their control with most outside classes 

• I enjoy teaching and want to help others suceed in their homeschool adventure

 

My name is Tammy and I am a homeschooling mom to 3 children. Our household also consists of my husband, 1 dog and 2 and a half cats. (We provide food, water, treats and bedding for a stray kitty who has taken up residence in our yard but my husband said we are not allowed to keep her. So, I say she is half of a pet.) 

 

I am getting ready to start a doctoral degree in Education in August. I currently hold a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum Design and Instruction as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I have been certified by the state of California to teach in the public school system in grades k-12 in all subjects. The state of Georgia does certificates a bit differently and my certification is transferring in here as a pre-k through 5th grade teaching certificate as well as a middle school Social Studies certificate. 

 

 I have experience teaching students who range in age from preschool through high school.  I enjoy teaching but I also want to be home with my children and teach them. So, this is how I got to where I am today. I am now offering my services to other homeschool families so I can teach and stay home with my family.This way, I can have the best of both worlds. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just a side note...God has blessed me and my family beyond measure  and I am thankful that I have these gifts that I enjoy. While I am offering homeschool planning, curriculum help and workshops to make extra money, I  was once a  single mom and I struggled financially. If you need assistance with your homeschool adventure but can not afford my independent study program, please still contact me.
